Dr Hayley Bennett

Hayley is a Senior Lecturer in Social Policy and Co-Director for the Centre on Constitutional Change at the University of Edinburgh. Originally from Preston in Lancashire, she now lives in Edinburgh with her husband and two children (but remains an avid Preston North End fan). She is Co-I, country lead for Scotland, and co-leads the Discretionary local welfare workstream. Her research expertise includes employment support, social security, and labour market programmes, with specific interest in spatial inequalities, place-based approaches, multi-level governance and Scottish devolution
